THE MOST GEORGOUS AND FABULOUS ATTRACTIONS IN JEJU ISLAND YOU MUST VISIT

    THE MOST GORGEOUS AND FABULOUS
ATTRACTIONS IN JEJU ISLAND YOU MUST VISIT

    THE DONGMUN MARKET

One of the The first place I recommend to visit in Jeju City is a very lively Dongmun traditional market. It is in downtown Jeju and I recommend going there in the morning to have the best atmosphere. You will find several parts including the fish market but it also sells fruits and vegetables. You will also find an area with small stalls to eat traditional Korean dishes

    SAMSEONGHYEOL
Samseonghyeol is actually 3 holes that have a very important role in Jeju Island. Legend has it that three demi-gods emerged from these three holes and were the first inhabitants of the island. Shortly after, a mysterious king arrives on the island by boat and offers them his 3 daughters (princesses) in marriage. They then threw 3 arrows in the air and the points of impact will correspond to the locations of their 3 colonies.

    THE FOLKLORIC MUSEUM OF JEJU
Right next to Samseonghyeol is the Jeju Museum of Natural History and Folklore. If you want to understand the culture of Jeju a little better, I really advise you to go because it is very informative. All you have learned here will help you better understand the rest of the places to visit in Jeju but also the mentality of the people of this beautiful island.
You will see in particular Dol Hareubangs which are one of the great symbols of the island. The name means "grandfather of stone" and these statues represent protective and benevolent deities. You will really see it everywhere on Jeju Island.
Unlike the Samseonghyeol which is based mainly on the legends of Jeju, the folk museum will instead introduce you to the customs and

traditions that have rocked the lives of the people of Jeju Island. The two previous visits are complementary and in a half-day, you will be unbeatable on the local culture.
    THE BEACH OF HYEOPJAE

It's time for a good swim! If you want to have a dip or simply stroll on a beautiful sandy beach, do not hesitate to head to the beach of Hyeopjae. It is famous for being the most beautiful beach on the island. It is about 30 kilometers west of the city of Jeju.

    OSULLOC TEA PLANTATIONS

South of Hyeopjae beach, inside the island, you will find the beautiful Ossulloc tea plantations.
In addition to the tea plantations, you will have the opportunity to visit the Ossulloc Museum where you will learn a lot about tea traditions in South Korea. At the end of the tour, you can also buy local tea but also a delicious tea ice cream

    CHEONJEYEON  WATERFALLS

We now come to the area around the town of Seogwipo in the south of the island. We can find here many waterfalls that we will visit together. And we start with the beautiful waterfall Cheonjeyeon which is in a large park really beautiful

Once inside the park, you should at some point cross the beautiful Seonimgyo arch bridge
Remember to cross it to have a great view of the whole region. You will also find on the other side of the bridge a nice Buddhist temple

    THE JUNGMUN SAEKDAL  BEACH

In the In the same area, you can go for a walk on Jungmun Saekdal beach. It is one of the favorite meeting places for couples in Jeju.
I also recommend eating a bite or having a drink at The Cliff Restaurant. You will have a great view of the sea.

    THE FALAISES OF JUSANGJEOLLI

We continue along the south coast of Jeju Island to reach the cliffs of Jusangjeolli. Once you have crossed the small park, you can have a beautiful view of these cliffs with forms, to say the least, "weird". These rocks are in fact of volcanic origin and they take these forms of columns because of the fast cooling of the lava following the contact with the sea.

    THE TEMPLE YAKCHEONSA

Yakcheonsa the temple is clearly the most beautiful temple I visited in Jeju. After crossing a beautiful garden, you will arrive in front of the main building with a tower on each side. Yakcheonsa temple is a Buddhist temple and you can even sleep there
